As part of my position with Canary Systems, I was tasked with a website redesign. The previous design had been in use since 2015 and was in need of updating to a more modern and responsive friendly design. Not only this, but I was asked to evaluate the structure of the site navigation and content, and adjust as needed to streamline the end-user experience. With some guidance and team feedback, I worked on transitioning the site to focus on solutions, hardware, software, past projects, support, and finally an about and contact page for the main navigation.

In 2019, I created a temporary website setup with another host provider and began working with the existing theme (Enfold) to develop a new look with the least amount of interruption to our website during the transition. When the design was finalized and approved in June 2020, I created a backup of the temporary site and restored it to the main WordPress site. After a few settings were adjusted to ensure plugins and loading times were working correctly, the transition was completed.

Below are screenshots of the original design.
